Default Which books to buy

I know the forum is really good at getting advice but I am someone who likes to read books about snakes and keeping as well as using the forum for advice. Does anyone have books that they think are good and worth reading? For me I am mainly concerned with rat, corn snakes. But if you have other general husbandry books that are good I'd like to know. Also any books that give views on all kept snakes to help make informed future purchase decisions as my collection grows.

Cheers

Alex

Just a couple of general books for you. My main interest is pythons and boas but these are a good read for all snakes:

Understanding Reptile Parasites by AVS
Vivaria Designs by AVS
Whats Wrong with My Snake by AVS
The Art of Keeping Snakes by AVS
The Atlas of Snakes of the World by John Coburn
277 Secrets Your Snake Wants You to Know by Paulette Cooper
also The Biology, Husbandry and Healthcare of reptiles by Lowell J Ackerman

For Ratsnakes, you can't beat the bible. A Monograph of the Colubrid Snakes of the Genus Elaphe Fitzinger - K.D Schulz

NHBS - A Monograph of the Colubrid Snakes of the Genus Elaphe Fitzinger - K-D Schulz

Also a Hobbyist Guide to Elaphe and Kin - Ray Stasko and Jerry G Walls is very good.

Amazon.co.uk: Rat Snakes: A Hobbyist's Guide to Elaphe and Kin: Books: Ray Staszko,Jerry G. Walls,John R. Quinn

For Australian and Carpet Pythons try:

Guide to owning an Australian Python by John Coburn
Pythons pet owners manual by Barrons
