I have been out of keeping snakes for 10 years or so and am now getting back into it. My , how things have changed, now it's all Royals and various morphs of corns. They sound more like a menu in an icecream shop.
Slightly off topic as it is not to do with anacronyms but what is a sharp boa and where do all these dwarf boas and pythons come from, are they cross breeds? Cheers |

Quote:
The dwarf boas and pythons are quite often island populations, which are known to be smaller than mainland ones - for example, Crawl Cay dwarf boas are from the Crawl Cay island; dwarf Burmese pythons and Reticulated pythons are from island localities. Usually it means "taking the female parent from the wild while she is pregnant and having her lay the eggs in captivity". So not only was mum wild, but she was also bred by the male in the wild, rather than in a vivarium.
