bump is just a way to get a thread to the top. so with classifieds if there hasnt been a reply after a day the thread moves down the list, so by posting a "bump" it sends it to the top of the list!

I have been out of keeping snakes for 10 years or so and am now getting back into it. My , how things have changed, now it's all Royals and various morphs of corns. They sound more like a menu in an icecream shop.
Slightly off topic as it is not to do with anacronyms but what is a sharp boa and where do all these dwarf boas and pythons come from, are they cross breeds?
Cheers

"Sharp" strain albino boas are a type of albino that isn't genetically the same as "Kahl" albino (breeding the two together gets you normals het for both traits) - both strains are named after the people who originally proved them out.

The dwarf boas and pythons are quite often island populations, which are known to be smaller than mainland ones - for example, Crawl Cay dwarf boas are from the Crawl Cay island; dwarf Burmese pythons and Reticulated pythons are from island localities.

Usually it means "taking the female parent from the wild while she is pregnant and having her lay the eggs in captivity". So not only was mum wild, but she was also bred by the male in the wild, rather than in a vivarium.

only a mod can do that - otherwise everyone would be doing it to keep their threads at the top and it would clog everything up!

RUB or really useful box has it's own website and is one of the top hits if you type the name into google.

What snake/possible animal is a CA read it in a thread and can't fathom it.

OP is the original poster?
