captive farmed is usually where females (often gravid) are taken from the wild, placed in a captive environment, and then either mated, or allowed to lay / give birth to her young in this captive environment. this is almost always done in the country of collection. the resulting offspring are then shipped internationally. they are often parasite infested, or have feeding issues, or other problems because they are oftne kept in similar ocnditions to wild (i.e pens) and there is often a high population density.
captive bred is where the young are bred in an entirely captive envoronment, and should be where the female was mated under captive conditions
