A Mojave royal python is "het" for the Mojave gene (and a Super Mojave is homozygous for it). That's how someone with a Spider royal (and Spider appears dominant) can get normal-looking offspring out of it - because it's only het for the spider gene and carries a copy of the recessive-to-Spider normal gene!
