Fabulous shot! BTW I have found that setting the exposure 0.7+ is perfect for photographing spidies (and other small objects) in dimly lit rooms. And in doing so you can use a lower aperture...

thanks , the lens was about an 1.5 in away from it, hes about 10cm l.s
