Thumbs up A Few Of Mine

I got a bit bored last night so decided to get out a few of my T's to take some pictures , here's the results , I hope you like ...
Oh before I get ripped for handling T's this is my choice!
First Off a Beautiful Brachypelma Auratum

Brachypelma Albiceps , this one has fattened up a bit and should molt within the next few week's ...

This Little one ( Brachypelma smithi) arrived to me as a sling in a cricket tub half filled with dirt a couple of years ago , no protection or packing at all , I am amazed that it survived the journey .But this is it today

This Little Gramostolla Rosea was my First ever Tarantula which I bought from eBay as a 1cm spiderlingfor £10 .Its a long story , but its also the reason I got into keeping tarantulas .This is Rosie

A Recent Addition to my collection is Euathlus Truculentus " truckles" (chilean Beautiful) Lovely natured little T , I suspect this one to be a male , But its Lovely whatever it turns out to be .

No Collection would be complete without a BIG specimen , so heres my largest at present , Yes its My Salmon Pink Female "Bertha" ( lasiodora Parahybana)

My One and Only Pokie , poecilotheria fasciata - Sri Lankan Ornamental

Still have around 50 others but most are a lot smaller than these ..Hope you like

great pictures, why would you get ripped for handling spiders, are you not supposed to? Isn't handling part of the hobby?

Its not in the interest of the spider to be handled and a lot of Tarantula keepers dissagree with it ..
It was explained to me like this
I have an aquarium full of fish but i dont handle them , they are there to be admired by one and all . Pretty similar to tarantulas really they are there to be admired and observed, handling is completely unnecessary and may cause the animal undue stress.
Having said that I only handle spiders which I know to be relatively safe and ones which i feel confident holding . I certainly wouldnt attempt to hold my salmon pink nor my Poecelliotheria or Murinus.. Species well known for being aggressive ..
Having said that I have seen someone holding all of these plus many others ...
A cause for a mass argument by many I am sure , However I wont post the link as I am not here to promote handling of Tarantulas in any way ...
