Default Anyone help me identify this moth?

I first thought this was a Brindled Beauty (Lycia hirtaria clerck) but now I'm not so sure...

Rescued him from a squishy death in the bathroom of my dorm

Hi there

I've just had a look in me book and I think it looks like a Pale tussock moth (Dasychira pdibunda).

Well done for rescuing him/her. Too many people squish them without a second thought for the cute little creatures.

My fave is the Elephant hawk-moth - they are striking.

I guite like speckled moths but I find this guy striking, I don't know many names

I've just always preffered them to butterflies, always though they were ott

I like the soft browns and greys you get in moths
