My mantids
all my work as in breeding will be in this thread from now on.
What i have as pairs but not yet adult breeding stock - pair of the real grandis from graham breeding stock - pair Hierodula solomonis (jade mantis) breeding stock - pair Pseudempusa pinnapavonis (peacock mantis) breeding stock - pair Phyllocrania paradoxa (ghost mantis) breeding stock - pair Pseudocreobotra ocellata (spiny flowermantis) breeding stock - pair Pseudocreobotra Wahlbergii (Spiny flowermantis) ooths waiting to hatch Hymenopus coronatus - orchid mantis odontomantis planiceps - Grassmantis Pseudocreobotra ocellata - spiny flower mantis Any one is welcome to any of my males after i have used them for mating.i will let u guys know in this thread when any are available.

Female - L4/L5 this was about 12 hours before it shed.Got this one from mark75..thanks mark.it shead after this shooting session..
see i dont just do macro..  This is my old rig which is being sold in 3 weeks in place of my 2nd canon set up..so for now my none macro shots (none macro shots meaning any thing above 1:1 life size) are taken with nikon D50-Sigma 50mm - Sigma macro ring flash

Mantids change the colour of there eyes when it gets dark
Female orchid mantis just taking out of the tank to take a pic.  The same orchid mantis but this time i put it in the dark for 6 hours.
