Oh what a dreadful shame, you must be gutted, horrible way to learn. I once temoparily put some moth larvae in with the indians and they ate the privet, they died horribly (just slowly disintegrated to mush). They had there own leaves in there but went straight for the privet. Had to freeze them in the end couldn't bear watching them suffer.
