Default Can Any One Tell me What Set Up Is Needed For A Red Knee

gna get the heatmat today, also im gna by it from a spiderling

what type of heat mat? and does it need a thermo stat

A regular heat mat will do, a thermostat is a good idea

For a lot of slings I use film canisters when really small then cricket tubs for them when they are a bit bigger.

Try some eco earth or coir or chemical free potting soil as a substrate, about 75-80f with 65-70% humidity.

dont put the tub on the heat mat , better to heat it from the back or side of the tub , mats will get to hot for tarantulas so a stat is esential

I wouldn't even bother heating it. A smithi will thrive quite happily at room temp (22c or 70F)
