Default Avicularia Avicularia - what would you pay?

There is a normal pink toe sub adult in the shop near me coming in and its so tempting lol. been after one of these at this size for a while now.
What price would you pay for a sub adult of one of these and how old would it likely be? can you sex them at this stage? would it be about 4inches? Avicularia Avicularia'sget to 4/5inches dont they?

this one is 20quid. sounds good to me.

thats a good price for a shop

Subadult will probably be around 3" , and age probably 18 months to 2 years , but really depends on how well its been fed

they can be sexed at that age if you know what your looking for , but its often better to sex them from a shed skin

Younger than that. If fed once a week an Avic female will be adult in 2 years. 'Tis not a bad price but thought u weren't gettin anymore? Also, if you do get it. Label it as Avicularia sp. "Guyana"

I paid about that for an avic from a shop (although this was 10yrs ago), it was about that size.
It moulted into a mature male not long after I got it and was dead within a year
(but this was just a normal pet shop [petsmart] who couldn't sex spiders. Or anything...)

I've seen them ranging from 18 - 30 pounds as juve's. My daughter got a juve 2 months ago for 4 quid from a garden centre, they had labelled it wrong lol but she stuck to her guns and they had to sell it at that . I think in future they'll put someone who knows thier spiders in the spider section

She shouldn't have had to 'stick to her guns', I work on a till and by law if something is labelled up at a lower price we have to charge it, or if it comes up at a lower price on the till.
