They can pack a punch, but the bite effects are incosistent. We have no idea of percantage of bitwes being dry bites. We dont know much about the effects.
Ofcourse we will always remember the worst outcome.
With poecilotheria sp. the worst outcomes sound horrid. Makes me respect them moreso than some other families. but i still dont consider them aggressive or bad tempered, just bloody flighty with a nervous disposition.
Poecilotheria have never been one to give a display when disturbed in my house. I get more stubborness and defensive reaction from my rosie, lol
The pokies are just quick and bolt off at a disturbance.
Cyriopagopus 'blue' IME has been much more unpredictable and defensive.
They arent as ready to run as pokies IME
