probably. I got a B. vagans from Athravan recently. It spent 2 weeks in it's hide before venturing out at all !. I see it nearly every evening now. Very quick and a great appetite.
I open the lid and it runs for cover. I put in a cricket. The spider dashes out catches the cricket and runs back all in the space of a second.

B. vagans are a burrowing species.. Well, obligate burrowers. Provide deep enough substrate and an adequate hide and they take to it. It's a good thing! Means she's settled
![]() I wouldn't bother shoving crickets down with a straw. Chuck them in the tank and leave them. Chances are she comes out at night and will catch food then. If you shoved a cricket down and she was moulting down there, you'd probably end up with a spider being munched on. |
