ive had it since mid december n its shed twice already. shes about 3inches. i came home 6.30pm n noticed it upside down, i thought great its shedding. its still ther, its not moved at all in 3 hours! is it dead? ive never had a spid shedding 4 this amount of time b4!

nooooooooooo dont touch it is moulting they go for hours without moving at all. just leave it be and dont disturb it

Some spiders take longer than others,
i've had some take a whole day to moult. I wouldnt worry if shes only been on her back for 3 hours or so

cheers guys. the legs r all pointing upwards, i suppose they'll curl in if it does die while moulting. it came as a bit of a shock coz it only fed 6 days ago, n i tried it with a cricket last night n it wasnt interested, i thought shed be at least a week b4 shedding lol.

Just keep an eye on her, she knows what shes doing

some t's stop eating weeks before moults but some stop eating the day before

just had a quick look n she is moving, well just her legs twitching. so happy now. cant wait 2 see how much bigger she'll b. hope nothing goes wrong now lol!

just give it overnight now and check in the morning dont go moving the tub around to look, just leave it too it. if the t was dead all legs under the body.
