I've currently got 3 ruffies about 3 & 1/2" together plus 2 separate sweet jars with 3 & 5 subfusca about an inch in size.
All communal tanks are an experiment from what I can gather and what works for some doesnt work for others. If you can afford the experiment then its worthwhile but try to give each inhabitant a place to hide and make sure there's plenty of food. The main problem seems to arise when either the pokies or avics reach maturity in which case many people seem to separate them. Unfortunately I don't have enough experience yet but thats what I can gather from successful hobbyists.
