Default Stopping mold in sling tubs

Ok i keep my slings in small pots with air holes, problem is within 2 days mold always starts appearing. I cant make the holes bigger as there slings so im at a loss at what to do apart from bumping down the humidity. Can anyone recommend anything?

yeah that will be why warmth and damp is what cause mould to grow, I have had problems with it occasionally but have found once more ventilation is made then the problem is solved.

I just checked my gals tub and there was loads in there. Seems anything with high humidity needs in this house is getting mold. Its probably because in my student house the room hits 80*F quite easily, at home i need to give them all heat mats so humidity rises due to top is fairly cold and bottom is warm forming condensation.

Make the holes bigger, and get some thin gauze bandage and cut it big enough to fit over the sling pot then put the lid over the bandage so the slings cant escape, I have used this method for years and never had any mold or run-a-way sling. Gauze bandage only costs about £1 or so and lasts a very long time

Default mouldy tubs

couls you use some ladies stocking over the top with an elastic band to secure it, that would give it plenty ventilation

I'd try the mesh/tights option.
