This morning, checked on my 1cm Selenobrachys philippinus sling, to find him dead
Saturday i noticed a bit of mould growing in his pot, so i straight away changed the substrate and cleaned the pot. While I did this he was in a seperate pot to keep him safe while i cleaned his home out, he was really active, running round happily and doing some webbing.
So after i sorted his house out, I put him back in. Since i put him back in he hasnt hardly moved, and hes a burrowing species and didnt attempt to burrow under the sub. once

so yesterday i put a crick in there for him cos he hadnt eaten for a while. He didnt try to eat it, and when i noticed he was letting it run about on him i took it straight out.
He was still a little responsive but not moving a lot, which was strange, cos the day before (saturday) he was rearing up and trying to bite me.
Then when i look in there this morning, it looks like theres mold on him

just little white dots (not moving) and stuff that looked like web over the top of him
Theres plenty of ventilation in his pot, and it wasnt that humid in there.
Any ideas what killed him

id like to know if it was anything to do with how i was keeping him/anything i did so i can stop it happening to my others spids.
Sam
