Default Insect Ideas!

Hello, I have some african mantid nymphs arriving on wednesday, but I would like something else to use up the feeder insects. Looking for Ideas!

With only a couple of these mantids, I can see that most of the feeder inescts will die rather than be used - which is pretty pointless.

Right now Im looking at a Hairy Desert Scorpion.

Anything else that I could look at? Preferrably not spiders

Noooo god no, the mantis' are pets, but I have 2 of them ordered, and Ive had experience with crickets before with my leos and they didnt last a great length of time.

So Im looking at ideas for insects that will help to eat the tub of crickets along with my mantids.

Cheers for the replies so far.

Stuart.

I plan on expanding my mantis' depending on how well these africans go.

Was thinking about getting a desert hairy scorpion, have never really looked into beetles.

H.Arizoensis, S.Maurus Palmatus, S.Mesaensis are all yellow desert sp and good feeders and all quite active.
