Default Docile spiders...

Here's something I was thinking about before..

Chile Rose/Med Red Knees etc are all docile spiders. But, even though CB's are docile, will wild one's be more aggressive?

Hope that made sense

I don't think you'll find any WC smithi's but the majority of my rosies are all completely nuts!! One second they are as friendy as anything, clambering out on to me as soon as I open the enclosure, the next day they'll be wanting to take my face off!! From my experience rosies are fairly unpredictable as are most spiders, each has their own personality which is why I try for a hands off approach with them

They are docile in the wild. Went to the lectures and in the pics the spiders just climbed all over the people looking for them lol

My chilie is really docile, however like humans she does have her off days. However due to her experience with striking at tongs in her bad days she now never bites.

They dont adapt much to captvity, thats why we recreate their own environment in their enclosure rather than accomodate them into our home.
This lack of adapting must be directly related to the lack of advanced learning. The behaviour in the wild would directly correspond to that of in captivity because they still see the world with the same fears. with only a most primitive learning ability, they probably only recognise that familiar smells and pheramones,

totally.. but iv had anoles living in my room for over a year, they get everything they need food, water, uv but are content to live in a stand alone cd tower, lol Their intelligence allows them to cpoe better in terms of food and things.
i cant think how to explain wot i maen, lmao, i spose tarantulas,n inverts are much more primitive, iguess i mean in their general domestication, that i wouldnt expect them to loose their tempermental side for rediculous numbers of generations. lol that took ages to word. still not right damn it! o well
