Be careful size wise a sling won't do too well in a large container, it might have trouble finding food and could get defensive or scared.

Hi all

Am wondering about the phrase Pyscho Spiders...

After many years away from the hobby, bought a Chile Rose just to see how the kids and her indoors reacted to me getting back into spiders.... I seem to have the most aggressive Chile that I have ever seen or heard of !!! I used to keep some of the more ' Anti Social' African species but none were like this !!!

Have had ' Brian ' ( Dont ask it was the kids ) about 6 weeks now, he ( for the sake of not looking to closely) is active all the time day/night, it actually looks like he is actively hunting !!! he eats all I give him, 2-3 small crickets once a week... He is blatantly aggressive to the extent of rearing up any time his tank is touched ( No tank tapping here Just to add water to his dish etc ).

The questions

1. Can I overfeed him as he always seems to want more
2. Are there just nasty spiders from a otherwise gentle species
3. Does anybody want to swap him for a rabid Pitbull LOL

Cheers in advance

Chris

My female rosea is a murinus in pink fluffy clothes!
Does your spider have a hide? Sufficient space?

Decent sized tank, plenty of shelter that he does not seem to bother with, he has webbed over one end of the substrate however
