Default This isnt right!

I have just seen our b.vagans for the first time in a few weeks and noticed her 'head' (sorry, dont know the proper name for this section of them) is a white/beige colour.

Any ideas? Ive not seen any pics like this before.

Could it be retained moult and is there anything i could do?

Ta,
Gary.

Its very hard to get pics of her as she rarely comes out...and when she does shes back in her tunnel like a shot as soon as she sees anyone coming close (like last night when i tried to get a picture).

She does look a lot like that picture but i trust the seller and do believe it is a B.Vagans...plus when we first had her she was a brown colour like most B.Vagans!!

Think ill just have to see how to goes then and hope all is well. If i get chance for a picture ill post it up but i wont hold my breath.

What age/size is it? If it's a young Albiceps, the golden carapace develops as they get older so that could explain why it was brown when you first got it.

Maybe then, it is only a youngster, not sure of exact age but its 2 inches (ish) across.

I got it from Athraven (Reptile Cymru) mind and he had LOADS of these in at the same time and sold god knows how many to people on here. So either everyone has got the wrong spider or i just managed to pick one odd one out of all the tubs HAHA and both scenarios seem unlikely in all fairness!!

I may give her a tidy clean out this weekend as her most recent moult is still in her tunnel plus i think that now shes grown a bit she could do with deeper substrate...i could get pictures easily then, just need a find a way to get her out of her tunnel in order to catch her
