I have to admit, I hate killing them. If I absolutley have to, then its water and detergent...

Once I made the mistake of putting salt down (they were eating my mums hostas), on advice from numerous garden type shows. Man, ill never forget how horriffic that was. Left them all night and they hadnt died by the morning...had to put them out of their misery.

I should have known really...bloody TV.

Nobody said they was spiders, :S

They just have disgusting long horrible uncontrollable legs, besides they are actualy crane flies arent they, plus ive never seen a spider with wings so i think i kinda guessed to start with that they arent arachnids :S

Crane flies are what the Western World nickname; ' Daddy long legs ' There are atleast 14000 different species of these all over the World. People often class them as some sort ofmisquito because of there shape but they don't fly as accurately and are slightly more sensitive.

Curty.
