Yes i've always done this anyway, besides getting the set up right before hand just makes me more excited to get the animal!!Lots of good ideas...who would have thought a cookir jar? HAHA Think im going to order a few slings on payday and ive got plenty of crix tubs laying about so they will more than suffice for a good while yet...gives me plenty of time then to keep my eye out for some other suitable tubs for when they outgrow their mini tubs.

I recently moved mine into plastic tubs as the weight of glass tanks when moving was immense.
I use a roughly 14" x14" x 9" container from B&Q that cost a grand total of £3.95. Then I melted air holes into it with a hot skewer. I house my vinegaroons (still tiny at 3cm) now in two of those larger lock and lock tubs (approx 12" x8" x8") with holes in them aswell. I like to give my inverts a little more space than usual, it seems to work fine, and they are light and cheap.
