Default Bernie's Nibbling the Roof :S

This morning wake up to find bernadette (L.parahybana) sitting like this:

And every five minutes or so she pokes her fangs through the gaps in the lid and pulls on it, almost like shes trying to break the lid to escape Anyone know why shes doing this?
Shes also due to moult, she hasnt eaten since middle of last summer

sounds like shes trying to escape:P
personally when i get tarantuals that try and escape so incessantly, i jsut re-dress the enclosure, depends how long the spider has been in the enclosure and whether its been comfortable previously

Ive kept things in there how they were when i got her just before last summer, i changed it slightly a few months ago, just moved her bowl and hide about really. Do you think i should move things back to how they were?

I've had my spiders do this a couple of times. Ususally the one to do it was a Chilean Common but also caught a Greater Horned Baboon having a go too. Luckily had the camera nearby.

I would change the housing to a diff tub. These like to dig deep burrows, and like coir better than vermic as its better for burrowing.

I thought that too..But didn't say anything cos people think I shouldn't give advice/constructive criticism in this section seeing as I've only been keeping T's for a few months lol.
