Default help me pick

hi guys i am new to the forum,i am looking to give a spider a home.i already have a flame and a salmon pink.i was looking at a mexican red knee or a colbolt.i know they are differant in behavior but cant make my mind up

Get some Brachypelma sp.
You cant go wrong with those guys they get a good size, always pretty spiders and pretty docile spdiers tho a bit flicky.
Gerenally a good spider for displays too
.
You arent really gonna see your cobalt tbh

My cobolt is out a fair bit, but still its normally hiding. Also Cobolts are in a completely different league from any of those spiders. Check the thread about me almost being bitten and you will see.

i got both spiders and i say the mexican redknee is always out and got stunning colours at a young age my blue cobalt spiderling is very fast and im frighten in case it gets out lol i love them both but the mexican i would pick.
or why dont u get both.

go for the red knee , im new to t's but i have 2 (4 come tuesday) smithis
they are out all the time & beauts to look at

Go for the redknee, their out most of the time, and are easy to care for. Cobalts are a T fopr people with experience IMO. They are very fast and will bite if they get the chance. They also spend most of their time in their burrows; one of mine hasn't been seen in 7 months!

thanks for your time guys,i have kept many spiders over the years and some very nasty ones.the colbolt was the next step up for me or to make a nice change something i could work with.

For display definately the redknee!! i had a cobalt and once it settled in i never saw it agen! my female redknee just sat out in the open looking gorgeous!
