Default Help

i have just been landed with one chilie rose spider and one green tree bird eating goliath spider wanted to know if you can actually pick these spiders up without worrying about dieing or something trying to transfer them into there new homes

any ideas on how i can put them in there proper tanks they are only in a card board box each only big enough to fit a dwarf hamster inside

definelty dont pick up. just nudge them into a cricket box or something. and there flicking hairs lol

Put it in the tank, open it up, put the lid on the tank and it will come out itself.

ok thanks these are my first spiders just out of ur personal expirience obvisouly u know what ur talking about are these spiders bites dangerous to humans

Only Dangerous if you are allergic to the bites. Chilies bites have been likened to that of a bee sting. Not sure about your bird eater though.

Pokeys (Ornamentals) have the worst bites and if your bitten you will surly feel it for a week or so.

Play it right and you will never be bitten.

Most tarantulas bites are just like bee stings, unless you have an allergic reaction
Some of the African/Asian species have nastier bites, but a chile rose bite shouldnt be anything to worry about.
Chile roses are fairly reluctant to bite anyway
