as for the pokie , anyones guess though I plum for p.formosa possibly p.pederseni
a better look at the underside of the tarantula for colouring would help , though not advised ....

WilleniumMy guess is:

Grammostola cala (Chilean Beautiful)
Poecilotheria regalis (Indian Ornamental)
Brachypelma vagans (Mexican Red Rump)
Brachypelma boehmi (Mexican Fire Leg)
Am i not right in thinking the G.cala is basically chile rose and one of it's original names? I'm sure i asked on here coz got confused by virgina cheesmens website not long ago!

Chile Rose is a common trade name. You get a couple of different species but they're practically the same spider, just slightly different appearance.

G cala and G spatulata are both old names previous to revision and correcting
Same spider

Like Brachypelma smithi used to be called Euathlus smithi but was reclassified through a revision, but occasionally you still see the old names being used.

I had 2 "G. Cala- Chile Beautiful"
And every person has a different answer to this, the most recent journal info i could find mentioning it is 1990:
Quote:
Smith, A.M. 1990.
Taxonomic differences between the closely related species Grammostola spatulata Cambridge, 1897 and Grammostola cala Chamberlin, 1917 from Chile.
Journal of the British Tarantula Society 6(1): 19-21.
