Do you have any bark in with them? If so chances are it's down to that. If not what conditions are you keeping them in?

there is a log thingy i bought from the pet shop that is in there they normally sleep on there , ummm they have a coco fibre and that moss stuff (dunno what its called but can look if u want me to) i change theyre food every day or every other day and spray theyre tank with water , on inspection theyre are a few little black creatures crawling on the millepede these are tiny the size of a flea or smaller but there are only about 5-6 of them

Are they getting calcium in some form and what temperature are they kept at? Does the log have bark on it? Any chance of a picture of your set up?

The black creatures should just be mites that help keep the millipedes clean although I'm not sure there's much need with captive millipedes.

Everything sounds just fine. What do the dead ones look like i.e. are they curled up / stretched out?

By the way I feed mine tortoise food which contains calcium and lots of other stuff, they love it.

well the last one died only yesterday and it was sort of limp if you know what i mean it , its head was tucked in towards its body and it was quite hard well the legs were anyway , i dont like the thought of loosing all of the millepedes as im a big admirer of them .

You may never find the reason. I had a Malay die for no apparent reason. Do they have a water bowl and what fruit/veg do you feed them?

I'd definitely put a water bowl in. I know they can get water out of their fruit/veg but my millipedes do drink from a bowl in addition.
