Digging up a pet hole?
I lifted my pet hole (n chromatus sling) tub earlier as I do quite frequently to make sure everything looks in order (I get so worried about it as its been down its hole 8 weeks and I can only just see its silhouette).
Anyway, I accidentally knocked the pot and the exit hole and half of its cavern has caved in and now I can't see in the pot. I want to dig it up to make sure its ok (this will also allow me to remove the old skin thats down there) but how can i do it without risking damaging my sling? Its very small, it was 1cm when i got it and has moulted once (I know this because the moult was pushed against the side of the pot in the hole).

Get a big tub and slowly take bits out.

Excavation was complete last night, the hole to the surface is back.
And for the first time since the day I got the sling, IT WAS OUT!
