Default Completely gutted... :(

Got home from a week away to find:

Tapinauchenius gigas has eaten her eggsac
Tapinauchenius latipes has eaten her eggsac
1x GBB sling is dead
My Mature male blondi is dead
2x Tapi cupreus slings are dead

ouch, sorry to hear that Bex..
It happens.
im assuming Tapinauchenius are nervous mothers then.
That is a shame, do Taps double clutch?
are these their first sacs? could be why i suppose

They're very scatty spiders but i've not been here so they've had even less disturbance than normal! Not sure on double clutching, i'll feed them both up and see what happens. I have a feeling they did it because they were infertile. The latipes lived with the male for 2 days then ate him, so i didnt see if they mated or not. Then the gigas laid within 5 days of mating. I have a feeling they were infertile and mums didn't feel movement so ate them.. Yep, first time mothers!

I'm so sorry for your losses hun. I know we both had high hopes for the latipes sac after my male got munched but maybe it just wasnt meant to be.

Really sorry to here the sad news , i was well gutted when you told me , i dont know why it is that bad luck always seems to come all at once , i just hope you have had all your going to get for quite some time
