I was doing work in one of my mated AF H. maculata's tank, and she suddenly made a run for it. She came outside the tank, but as I was guiding her back in I caught her leg, and now she has dropped it. I have made sure that the wound is sealed, and she is now ok. I just can't believe I made such a novice mistake!!!

they are fast as hell though mate, mines probably the most hectic to work with tarantula I own, for sheer speed.

not sure on how shel deal with being gravid though, might reabsorb the eggs to recoop some nutrients though.
