Default Scops in captivty

when a scorp is put in to captivaty do they cut of it's stinger or somthing? I was just wondering because i have seen a few that look like they have no stinger.

I have a very limited knowledge on these things... but, I have never personally seen a scorpion with a stinger removed. They may do it, but I have never seen it. It would cause a lot of stress/harm to the animal I would have thought.

sometimes yes, bare in mind the animals are collected by villagers trying to earn some dosh generally(species dependant).
Sometimes you do find scorps de-stinged and spiders defanged, and centipedes defanged. Real shame but it does happen.
scorp telsons do not regen from what i know.. wel any part of the scorp if mature
