Default chinese mantis got BIG character

i know these are very common but wow have they got big character..they love to jump and run around..out of all my species and i have alot these are the most fun.

i totally agree with you about the chinese mantids, mine only hatched yesterday and cant believe how many come from one egg sack.
will my young eat pin head crickets??? as thats all i have to feed them.

i had about 300 hatch and over 48hours i lost 60% for no reson..yer they will eat pin head crickets..as long as there not bigger than the mantid..

yeah thats the problem i have they are slightly larger than the babies and seem to run away from them.
got about 40 dead so far but heard they eventually start eating each other.
by any chance do you have any fruit fly farms for sale?

i have culture u can buy..2£..your have to pay postage..your lucky..because i bought a few to many so i have 1 or 2 spare..pm me if u want it will sort out payment.

yer theres a few places..its a gamble tho if the culture will be allready full with frute flys.trouble wityh ones i have from livefoodsforgood i have a good few mites in there which anoyed me.

Ive ordered 2 from that site at different times (3 weeks or so in between) and both had loads of white mites. When my second culture arrived though, I split it up to 2 of my own cultures and neither of them have any mites, must be the medium that site uses...
