Hi i have just got 3 adult empro scorpions today.. We put them in there new tank 30x12x12.. they started to have ago at each other. fighting for space and that.. the tank has 3 plant pots as hides and a bit of bark.. we went to do some shopping and when i got home one of them are deab ????? should i keep the other 2 together or take 1 out ????????

I know very little about scorps but if it were me i'd take it out to remove the risk of another dead scorp. Sorry about the other one.

when you first put them together they will fight abit to form a pecking order for the best hides etc... if it continues you'd best seperate them. a pregnent female will attack other tank mates btw.

Tank is too small, end of story.

Seperate them - I've seen people use a tank the size you have for one scorpion only. Its far too small for 3.

Sorry, i read that as being 30cm and didnt think about the 12 part...

Hmmn...actually, 30" is quite big. I've seen groups kept like that before, but they were in something approaching 30" x30" (x12"tall).

It might be an idea to seperate them anyway, social set ups dont always work out.

ok thanks I'am going to give it till 2more if things look ok i will let them get on with... just hoping it was not me male ...

If I were you , I would take them out , re-arrange everything put in new eco earth, and then put them together again.
