Question GBB Sling

Hi Guys

I got myself a GBB sling last week and rather than settle on the floor its built an elaborate web and seems very comfy at the highest point of the viv on a branch. Is this normal.

Its eating and webbing fine but cant tell if it looks fine as i never see the beggar!

If your tank or substrate is too moist then your gbb will adopt an arboreal behaviour until its happy with the conditions.
It could also be simply that yours is just getting used to the enclosure.

Mine stayed at the top of the tank when I had mine too and then webbed there and moulted there. She's up there again now in a hammock ready to moult. Between moults she was all over the place exploring but still prefered the top of the tank to being on the substrate even though it was bone dry.

Some say they are semi-arboreal, but who knows for sure! What yours is doing is perfectly normal behavour so I wouldn't worry. Not many species web like the GBB.

Here is my GBB's webbing.....
