Default what is my scorp doing?

my female emperor keeps burying into the compost in the tank while her mate sits guarding the area. Any idea why?

hi vicky,
its mark with the large collection of stick insects. (scorps you bought)
all 3 of my chinese mantid ooths have hatched in the past week and got about 60% survival rate (which suprised me as chinese mantids are usually critisized by thier mortality rate)
are you interested in some? as will be ready in the next 2-3 weeks.
i will be selling at £2.50 each L2-L3 sizes.

let me know

and opologies if this is the wrong vicky.

scorps give birth to live young so not laying. Emperors dig around and the like anyway so i wouldnt be too worried, theyre probably just doing what comes naturally and having a good root around.
are they adults?

Jus check the temperature, if its too hot they tend to try and bury away from the heat to cool off

May just simpily be affecting one scorpion and not the other, one may be slightly more sensitive to it.

also if this is the case, ensure your heat mat (if you have one) is no more than 1/3 of the tank, as he wont be cooling off at all which may lead to stress.
