Default Housing advice for my spiders?

Firstly, I bought a L. Parahybana (juvie) from kettering. Originally I put her in a custom aquaria tank and created a hide using some cork bark. She terraformed the whole tank and basically blocked herself in leaving a tiny hole. So as I never saw her I tried changing the tank slightly. I re flattened all the eco earth and placed the cork bark flat on the surface as 'not' to create a hide. I thought If she is not happy she will dig under the hide......which she did! My last attempt was to take the cork bark out and replace with half a plastic flower pot, again she has terraformed the tank and buried herself well under so again she is out of view!

Have I lost this battle!? I dont want to keep disturbing her, and want to get a happy medium for my pleasure and her comfort! Any ideas?

Also My GBB has a hide and has since made extravagant webbing in and around this and spends all her time in there, all I ever see is a few legs poking out sometimes. Any ideas how I could set her tank up creating a happy medium as said above? I will be taking her to the BTS to enter into the competitions, so that would be an ideal time to change her tank.

Most of my spiders hide as youngsters but generally come out more as they get bigger. Most disappointingly, the spiders I have been raising as L. parahybana have turned out to be B. albopilosa so I am now back to square one and having to look for a big spider again, only with space being occupied by another two spiders :P

My L.parahybana is also very much the same. She has half a flower pot and has piled the eco earth in front of the entrance just leaving a tiny gap.I think as youngsters it makes them feel secure. She pops out every now and then but as they become older and get bigger they tend to venture out further.
