We seem to get loads of maybugs around here. One flew in through the open window on Sunday, straight into the open paws of my tabby moggy. He grabbed it between his teeth, one sickeningly loud crunch and that was the end of that one. Eeeeuuuw!
You would not believe the big shiver I just got when I got to 'crunch' lol. My cats used to do it with sow bugs so I can imagine how one of these would sound, oh there I go again, big dirty shiver
Also called May bugs, larvae feed on plant roots for up to 2 years before they emerge, not seen any in Devon yet this year. Noisy things when they fly.
