Yeah, they're lovely, some of them have bigger fluffier antennae than others.
I saw about 5 of them, when i first moved here about 9years ago there were loads, probably 50 or so. I think there was some heavy rain that killed them off

I've spent the last two evenings at pubs removing them from the lights above tables of squealing women!
They're quite cute when you look at them really! I've not had much to do with them before this...

Really cool photo. I had never seen one of these in real life untill last week at the Luas stop one was walking down the platform, really slowly. I didn't realise they had such a large mouth piece and it did seem to want to sample me so I have to admit I whimped out and scooped it up on a dock leaf and moved it on, which was from almost certain death as the local hooded scum who seem to enjoy squishing things where about

We seem to get loads of maybugs around here. One flew in through the open window on Sunday, straight into the open paws of my tabby moggy. He grabbed it between his teeth,one sickeningly loud crunch and that was the end of that one. Eeeeuuuw!
