Guys, just so you know its illegal and pretty stupid to own a DWA scorp without a licence or experience.

And its illegal to the point you can loose your petshop licence if your selling DWA without a DWA licence. They dont automatically come with pet shop licences any more.

Doesnt mean he has a licence. And you have to have a different type of DWA for each different sp of animal you keep ie if I kept DWA spiders, i could hardly be experienced in keeping DWA snakes.

But if im mistaken then its happy days eh. I just say ask to see the licence before selling anything.

Doodles does have the appropriate licencing and as the scorpion came in as unidentified it did seem smartest thing to accept it from the person bringing it to us but it has gone to a GOOD, EDUCATED, WELL EQUIPED AND LEGAL HOME so happy days indeed

Just to ease everyones worries I have a pet shop license and the council are fully aware that I keep DWA and were suprisingly absolutely fine about it!

Thats cool, i was just checking thats all as i didnt think it was the wisest thing to be talking about on an open forum if you dont have a licence.

The most important part is having the experience and knowing how to handle DWA though (not as in the literal "handling" sense obviously), I couldnt give a rats a*** about the licence in all honesty, just thinking of the forum
