Hi guys, I finally managed to get a pic of my Ornamental. Its not that good but its the best I could do.

not surehow big it is, it doesn't stay still long enough for me to try and measure it. Its Pederseni, i think that's how you spell it. Most of my other t's seem to be female, so it will make a change to have a male.

Generally, Pokies tend to be daimorphic from a younger age, that is, they look different visually.
Pokies tend to be reletively easier to id from a picture (Reletive to other families of tarantula) P pederseni, are like most Poecilotheria sp. they have a Black and white pattern as female, and males tend to have a Brown/black pattern. Males look alot scruffier, with long scraggy hair, when compared to the beautiful and neat female. Im sure someone can come on and confirm what iv wrote.. im not that clued up to Poecilotheria sp. |
