Question Spring Cleaning?

Hi guys

This might be a really obvious, dumb question but how often should a t be cleaned out. Do you destroy all the webs so that they begin again?
I was just wondering as i imagine t droppings are not spotted easily.

Thanks
Vic

I never clean mine out completely unless mites are in there. I leave everything as it is for the whole time the spider is in there. It never needs cleaning out like a rabbit or whatever does, spiders are very tidy. All that needs doing is removing the bolus, moults and cricket remains from the tank. I do it with tweezers.

Make a mini squeegy.
So you dont really need to clean out just take out debris. What about droppings or do they just add to the soil with no ill effects?

Mine poo down the glass but so what? They don't care lol Spider poo is just white liquid Vicky, you won't see it unless its up the glass.
I dont see the point in stressing the spider out just to remove a bit of poo...

But if anyone who does do it wants to come fish my 7" P. regalis female out to clean her viv then feel free!

My spiders are generally pretty clean and I’ve had no mites. I only really need to do tank maintenance when they flip over hides and water bowls. I personally like my tanks to look clean, so I get any excrement off the sides (without bothering the habitant).

If you do remove their web whilst cleaning will this affect them in any way or will they just carry on as normal and build another? I prob wont disturb their web coz i think theyre fab.
