Default african mantis sap????

hiya
Does anyone know anything about a sap like juice on an African Green Mantis?

Mine has a large abdomen and on one side there is a pale orange/brown sap. Not sure if coming from her but can not find where else it could come from in her enclosure. She has a tremedous appetite and it does not seem to be affecting her apart from one corner of her wing is stuck to it. Worried about trying to pick it off incase i damge her body or wing. Wondered if anyone has come across this before and if so any suggestions? Wondered if i shoud try and soak the area with warm water to soften the sap off. Tried to find anything about it in books etc but nothing yet also waiting for a vet who specialises in repts to get back to me too.

Thanks
Rusty x x

she shed just before xmas and has since changed colour but no further shedding. She is almost grey now with a hint of brown/cream on underside and leg joints.
