I was thinking of getting one, how big was it when you got it and how big is it now? Also how long has it taken to get to this size. I heard they can take 10 years to mature.

Hi Lucifus

when I got him/her was only 10-12 mm

but is now a mighty 35mm

but shows all the natural baboon behaviour Ie: hates everything and everyone..
Normally put him on the coffee table in the night when kids have stopped banging around and he comes out of his caves to EAT STUFF !!! if I have to do any maintenance like picking up corpes of his lunch he rushes out and displays whether offensive or defensive not sure but is impressive !!!! and he hates when the tv changes light LOL

Yes they mature slowly but think they are truly worth it !!!

Cheers

Chris

sorry for bad photos !!!!!

Jamie you wont regret it !!!

Have kept adults in the past and each one is a totally different character !!!!
Yes they take a long time but think they are the business !!!!!
Not a living hole as some people think, but you do have to adjust to their timing if you want to see them LOL

Cheers

Chris
