Default emp tank

hi,
i'm getting an emp scorpion soon and have set up the tank,
just wondering if itlooks ok to everyone,

so heres the pics

any tips etc would be great thanks

That looks good, yeh

You putting the heatmat on the side, yesm?

Might not need a lid... I doubt they could get out of there. But it would keep the humidity up better, which is needed, specially for younger ones.

i'm not sure its age yet lol, and its a mesh lid, will spraying be enough?

Well, basically, you want quite a high humidity for the young'uns, specially round moulting time. So with a mesh lid and spraying, it will probs do. If it seems to be quite dry, you could always cover some of the lid with something.

apart from humidity, would i need a lid on it, do you think the scorp will be able to get if i don't put the lid on.

Tbh, by the looks of it, I would have thought it'd be fine. I really cant see anything gettting out of there. But, then, I wouldn't want to say that and then your scorpions escape

I use quite a big water bowl as they do tend to drink alot. This also keeps the humidity a little higher.

Lid may be good if only to keep some of the heat and humidity in.
