Talking BTS show!

Had a great day today, met a couple of the forum members, Jamie, Willenium and pecks Nice meeting you!
Bought 7 Ts and got 5 mantids
Managed to pick up:

Haplopelma minax x 2
Haplopelma schmidti
Pterinochilus murinus RCF
Citharischius crawshayi
Chilobrachys andersoni
Chilobrachys fimbriatus
Im soo glad i got a shmidti, she looked really docile and quiet in her pot, but when i opened it to put her in her tank she went into threat posture and started striking at me!
I managed to get pictures of them all, turned out theyre not too blurry cos i used my dads camera

Did everyone else have a good day?
What did everyone buy?

Sam

I had very much fun but then got dragged away because my dad got fed up of me wanting cockroaches and scorpians, and red knee juvi's but i did end up getting myself a juvi Grammostrola rosea a tank, heating mat substrate and various books and contact cards.
So when my dad went out because he got bored, I ended up stalking jamie for awhile, he doesn’t know this yet because I never said hi, nerves got the better of me so I just stalked him for awhile before another bald man walked past when I was eyeing up some cockroaches and well I got confused thinking that was jamie so stalked him found out it was the wrong person so went to my dad and went ok we can go now

Mind you saying that i saw him in the que outside aswell, again nerves so i walked past one way, walked back to my dad just to walk past again to go to the end of the que, i generally stalk people if someone i know breaks the ice i may talk to them, but yes i stalk...

My dad wasnt really that bothered about the show either so he went and sat in the car while my twin sis and my mum wandered round with me
Did you see the lecture?

I got a Brachypelma auratum sling. Plus lots of decor and a small glass tank (does anyone know the seller of all those nicely made tanks in all sorts of sizes in the back hall?).
When I got home i put some peat/vermiculite mix in the tank and transfered my sling. After walking the dog, i checked and found the sling scrunched up and the humidity was 95% (bad times). I thought I'd done my baby in. I took it out of the tank and back into the plastic pot, hoping it wasnt too late, but thinking it actually was. I looked about an hour later and thankfully it's happy again, phew (good times). The peat mix was from the shed and not house temp, giving off all the moisture as it warmed.
The lesson here is make sure you get your enclosure sorted before dropping ur cherubs in.

You probable mean Custom Aqauria they are based in Rushden, Northampton. Matt is the person you need to speak to if you can get hold of him.
