hi all have never kept spiders before, but fancy adding something different to the collection! what would you recommend as a good first spider? thanks in advance for advicev
My first two T's were a Chile Rose and a Mexican Red Knee. The red knee is still tiny but the Chile is big and I've had no problems with her, easy to look after too, ideal for a beginner.
Grammostola Aureostriata or a Chromatopelma Cyaneopubescens..
I personally think that these two, out of my spiders, are the best starter species because they're both pretty easy to look after, pretty docile & really interesting to watch
Could also go for a curly hair if you want something different. Adult Red Knee's go for £75 so are actually worth more than sub adult T.Blondis. Bit silly but meh.
