Probably just cold, though that leg position looks funny.. not many T's sit on the substrate with one leg cocked like that!

Keep her extra warm and make sure her water bowl is full. Fingers crossed x

Has there been no sign of movement at all? I received a B. klaasi once that looked perfectly fine. It had died with cold I think so didnt curl. Keep your smithi warm and fingers crossed. Good luck. xx

*Update*

Still no movement. The heatmat is heating up the housing nicely, but it seems to be making no difference to her.

Surely there has to be some sort of sure way to know if she is alive or not?

The only thing you can do is leave her..once the abdomen "shrivels" it's 100% dead.

How did you get her into her new home?

Just wondering how she remained up right if there has been no movement at all.

Well, I didn't expect her to be dead when I went to introduce her to her home. So, I tried coaxing her out with a ruler, as the seller suggested. I was very very gentle but she more or less just slid onto the substrate from the edge of the box she was in.

Of course, no movement here was an initial surprise. Her legs dont appear to be curled up and there were times when I could have sworn I seen small movements in one of her back legs.

I've been keeping her in a dark place, to shield her from bright light, and the house is warm enough for her (currently sitting at 21 degrees celcious). Still no movement though, I've been regularly checking

Hmm.
The problem with slight movements is once a T has died the nervous system keeps working, so for some time after they've died they can still be seen to twitch.

How long has it been now?
