I reckon it's a male mantis and will therefore grow quicker
The abdomen segment total also indicates male.
I find the males and the females of this species grow at about the same rate. I've actually had females reach their final moult before the males and they were kept in exactly the same area with no temperature differences.
As Becky said though that mantis is definately male
