Are daddy long legs arachnids? For number 5 ma mums BF is saying that they have evolved to fly coz daddy long legs fly! I say not but don't think he believes me!

It would surely have been in the interests of arachnids had they evolved to fly, since there are so many insects that do.
Who knows.. Perhaps, gradually, they are...
